ABOUT ME
I am a current Liberty Lake Library Board of Trustee and have proudly served the community in this position for the last 2 years. My family has been fortunate enough to call Liberty Lake home for the last 8 years. My entire extended family also resides in Liberty Lake. I am the mother of two wonderful children, who attend CVSD schools. I have my master’s degree in special education, specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorder, with 12 years of experience. I am a special education teacher for an alternative learning environment (ALE) for OSPI. I previously owned and operated an in-home Pre-K program and I provide early identification support and have served in an advocacy role to many families in the community seeking early intervention supports through their local school district.
WHY I AM RUNNING
My role as a library board of trustee has allowed me the experience of observing and working with our city council and mayor. It is specifically the work I have done in the last year with Ordinance 119C that has inspired me to run for seat 7 on the city council. I believe in a fiscally responsible government that provides equitable representation to its diverse population.
